Dear friends

While checking the validity of the informations I give on my website, I
discovered a possible misidentification in Mediterranean Nuculanidae.
Nuculana pella (Linnaeus, 1767) vs. Nuculana bicuspidata (Gould, 1845).
See my page at
http://www.idscaro.net/sci/04_med/class/fam5/species/nuculana_pella1.htm
Last picture is a bicuspidata, placed here for comparison; but I suspect
the first pic shows also a bicuspidata... froim Alboran.
But Gould's Nuculana is not known to live in Alboran area. Range
extension? Confusion? Is my Alboran specimen actually a true pella??? I
can't believe it...

Any opinion will be welcome

Olivier Caro
