Thanks for pointing that out, Dick... my bad. "T" insignis is in
another genus...think, think... won't come... my brain hurts!
I wonder about Trichamathina. On gross morphology it is very similar
to T. bicarinata, but has a very low translation rate along the
coiling axis, resulting in an almost planispiral shell. I'd almost be
willing to bet that this is a synonym of Trichotropis
For interest, the species being sold as Trichotropis turrita from the
Philippines is not that species, but is undescribed.
