Marlo,

Thank you for sending the link concerning Arca imbricata.  Once again you
have put together an exceptionally fine and informative pictoral display on
a shell species.  I note that you state that A. imbricata does not occur in
the Florida Keys.  Although A. imbricata seems to be more common in the
Bahamas, it is also present in the Florida Keys, where I have been
collecting shells for over 20 years.  I found one specimen of A. imbricata
under the Bahai Honda Bridge in 1997.  Last year I found four specimens of
A. imbricata around Money Key.  Maybe another Conch-L member will also
respond.  In any case, I hope that this information is helpful.
