I like to think I know a bit about muricids, but I recently received a
specimen labeled "Attiliosa bessei Vokes" from Honduras. I cannot find this
name in Vokes' works, and I suspect it's actually a Petuchian species, but I
can't find it the few works I have by him. Does anyone know where (if
anywhere) this species was described?
