I would highly recommend that any types, paratypes, etc. be very
clearly labeled as to what they are.  Part of the problem reflects
names published before the modern rules, but there are a lot of
specimens out there with "type" on the label that are not true types,
and specimens that should have some sort of type recognition but which
lack it.
