 I'm sure the government will send in hundreds of people, probably in
biowarfare gear, until they are exterminated. the locals, throughout south
Florida will kill every snail, including Liguus, that they see. that's what
happened the last time and that's probably what Phil meant.

I hear cockroaches carry 35 different diseases so they must be an even
bigger health threat. Odd that Achatinas are loved as pets in the UK and
some folks even keep exotic roaches.
