Can anyone find the legitimate WRS of this Hawaiian endemic species? Not
Tonna melanostoma Jay, 1839 that was linked to this species until Chris
Vos separated the 2 Tonna in 2007. I've seen huge melanostoma from Samoa,
New Caledonia, and the Philippines. The Hawaiian species is much smaller
but for years was wrongly linked to melanostoma, thus a true accurate size
might be in error.
