Not exactly a shell name, but there is a marine organism living in deep water
off the southeastern United States, called Neofibularia nolitangere.  It is a
type of sponge, and if you handle it, you break out in a burning rash, most
unpleasant.  What is interesting is the species name nolitangere, which means
"do not touch".
