Dear Conch-L friends,

I want to thank all of you for the many pieces of information on this topic,
both generic and in-depth.
It is threads like this that really help me to not be totally ignorant on
these subjects.

Marlo, it is your delicious bight size (although large bights) presentations
of information on a couple species at a time that is helping me to
understand the shells I take for granted, and know so little about.

Shell identification is one of my weakest points, and it is learning the
keys to distinguishing characteristics that is allowing me to separate the
many species in my collections. Though I may not remember species to
species, I am at least becoming educated enough to do my homework and ID
material using the books and resources I have.

Thanks Gang, you make Conch-L work!!!
Leslie
