Subject: Re: [CONCH-L] Shell storage drawer ideas?

Maureen,,

I can sympathize...the solution to my collection needs came when a
friend tipped me off to a home furnishings mail order business called

Home Decorators Collection, particularly their "Stanton Storage Cabinets"-

these come in a variety of shapes and size configurations but their
basic drawers are a bit over 3 inches deep which i think would suit
your needs perfectly. You can go online to their site and see the
product(s). Also make sure to check out their "outlet store" online
as i just got another cabinet there at a discount. They are
discontinuing some of the sizes and colors over the last couple of
years so keep that in mind...mine are all in the "oak finish" and that
color seems to be available in fewer sizes now than past years. The
wood itself is actually NOT oak. Some kind of pine, i think. They also
come with casters you can install on the bottom so you can move them
around, if you want.
