For those of you wondering about the toads . . . they are Bufo marinus, a
huge toad from Africa which has been introduced just about everywhere in
the Tropics. Besides unknown competition with endemic species they don't
seem to be much trouble except with the local human inhabitants who don't
like one pound toads hopping around eating their pet's food.
