I've been living here on Jeju for fourteen years and have collected and studied mollusks during that time.

I would be pleased to take you to some quite productive beaches, a haenyo station or two, and the shell museum.

 I'm heading to Korea in October, going to
 visit my son who is working there. We are going to spend a
 weekend on Jeju. Any Conch-Lers been there? Suggestions? I
 understand there is a shell museum, I'm swooning to see
 a Haenyo in action and I've love to do a bit of
 productive beachcombing, all of which makes for a tall order
 for a weekend. It will be exciting to do any of
 it.
 I'd love to hear from anyone who has visited
 the island.
 In Seoul, you better bet I will hit the fish
 market.
 I will, of course, bring a camera or two or three
 on all of my adventures.
