        John,

I really don't know where, in Brazil is "Felpestes ?Brazil". I've
never heard about it. If the label was handwrited, may be it is
Florianopolis, in the south of Brazil.

Just using Alta Vista to search some names, I found the following:

        1) There is a river in Russia called Amur. Also a leopard and a lynx
were named after this region.

        2) There is a region called Sidi-Aïssa-Boghari in Algeria

        3) There is a place in SW India called Canara. It's close to the
city of Mangalore

        4) May be Epakto is not in Greece but in Turkey. It is somewhere
close to northern Greece. You may find it funny but try to search it in the
following site
http://oasis.leidenuniv.nl/nhda/esf/projects/leake/html/hypleake.htm
<http://oasis.leidenuniv.nl/nhda/esf/projects/leake/html/hypleake.htm>
"William Martin Leake An electronic edition of his Travels in
Northern Greece"

I wish it can help you. Tomorrow, at lunch time, I'll search a
little bit more starting from K.

        All the best,

        Eduardo Moreira
        Brasilia, Brazil
