can anybody tell me of records of the above species being found in the continental USA< specifically Florida including the Florida Keys? on some sites like gastropods.com I see "Lower Florida Keys" listed, and i see a shell currently being offered from "Conch Key, Lower Florida Keys". I can't say i know anybody who's ever found this species any closer to the US other than those shells from Puerto Rico's south coast. But I certainly assume its possible there have been specimens....

a quick check of Abbott 1974 - "West Indies to Brazil", Redfern (1st ed) not listed Radwin and D'Attillio 1976 "southern Caribbean Sea"....

thanks
