How did Classical Greeks pronounce Chlamys?

CH is a velar fricative like ch in German, usually transcribed as kh in
English.
A is a broad unrounded back vowel. Say "ah".
Y is a high rounded front vowel like the German ue or the French u.

Since CH and Y are not used in most English dialects outside of Scotland,
Chlamys is not easy to pronounce with any verisimilitude. So I pronounce it
"KLAY-miss" and don't worry about it much.
