After all these of collecting, am just getting into doing some trading. I
have a friend who lives in England and he was sent some shells he bought
from a dealer in the states, and he had trouble with customs in England. He
was sent a Tradacna and a Hippopus, customs telling him they were illegal
to mail to another country without permits. I want to send a Queen Conch
to Ireland. Does anyone know if there might be any problems, are do you
follow the usual routine of shells for scientific study and of no
commercial value?
