I have noticed that of all the coumtries i deal with, the collectors
from the Netherlands and Belgium are the most likely to be
"scientifically oriented" in their conchological persuits- often
collecting  interesting but not shiny or "flashy" taxa such as
Polyplacophora and Buccinidae, as well as bivalves of all varieties,
Turridae, etc.  Can anyone perhaps tell me why this is so??
