Dear all,
Can someone help me please with identification of a Tonna shell - I will
describe it as best I can:
exterior is cream color, blotched with brown; interior is cream. The
columellar area is calloused and very dark brown in color; umbilicate; suture
is distinct. I have 2 specimens, size is 100+mm. There are 19 raised ribs
on body whorl, between which are 2 thin brown lines, which end in darker
brown "teeth" on outer lip, giving a serrated appearance to outer lip. Very
pretty shell. I have no data. Any help will be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
