Dear All;-
        That includes YOU!
        Let me describe this Latiaxis sp. in terms of things it is close to.
Maybe that will help.
        It is more elongate and with more spiral lines than L. tosaensis.
        Many more spiral lines, much larger than, and somewhat less "sticky"
than L. echinatus.
        Babelomurex yunamarumai is pinkish where "sp." is pure white, also
considerably smaller.
        B. kawanishii; smaller, pinkish and the spines tend to curl upward.
        I hope all this helps.
        You might tell me what distinguishes a Latiaxis from a Babelomurex
while we're at it.
