Sorry, Art, sorry! Umber not! I stand corrected! Shall you be
shilling, uh...shelling, I mean selling the new Ep book down by the pig sty
as well? Don't you just hate those compliments that start out fulsome and
effusive and then hit you with a blindsiding "But...."? By now I ought to
know they are coming! :-) Just kidding, of course...but, WOW!... I can
hardly believe your American Conchologist has arrived, shills and all! I
only mailed it yesterday this time! (Late? Yes. Another story for another
day. Let it suffice that it takes time to get all those typos assembled
into one place!) Some mail carrier must simply have gone berserking and run
all the way up I-71 to Cincinnati, slaying postal regulations as he ran!
Or maybe a winged porker gave him a lift? (Patience, folks, the pigs don't
fly to every city yet and snails'll have to do for most of us.)

Don't miss Karlynn Morgan's Red Cones at Night article, with some glorious
shell photos by Char Lloyd. Or Paul Monfils' wonderful photos of
fluorescing shells! Eyepopping. One of those times I wished we printed on
coated paper stock Those colors are hard to capture in process ink too!
And lots more, including the first information on the Y2-K Houston convention.

Grins,

Lynn
