Yesterday I was loaned a Sassia sp to photograph its animal.
Unfortunately, it was almost dead on arrival and passed away prior to
extending the foot or siphon.  This came from Lanikai, Oahu at 325
meters.  I am now photographing the shell.

I am not familiar with Sassia (in Ranellidae).  What features separate
it from Cymatium?  I can see that the whorls are distorted, with the
suture rising adapically rapidly before reaching a varix.
