>Hello,

Good reference for Pleur Perotrochus westralis is "The living
Pleurotomaridae" by Patrick Anseeuw and Yoshihiro Goto, 1996.

Species was described by Whitehead in 1987.

Geographical distribution says that it is apparently confined to an area off
Western Australia some way south of Broome, northwards to the Ashmore Reefs.
There have been as yet unconfirmed reports of findings in the Sea of Timor,
which might indicate a range extension towards the Moluccas.

Regards

Roger
