I second Ross's sentiments regarding the so-called "Deadbeats" list.
However, if we absolutely insist on naming names, shouldn't shell
collectors be able to also post the names of dealers who they feel were
less than honest with them? Perhaps sent them shells way below their
grading or refusing to credit or exchange a return? I think there are very
few of either out there: Bad customers or bad dealers (I have met none of
either). Isn't it a better use of our time to put up the names of our
elected officials who have a terrible record on supporting environmental
issues, etc. Or who insist on using shellers as a scapegoat while paper
mills (and other industries) dump toxic wastes into our rivers every day
(which ends up in the ocean), thus causing harm not only to molluscs, but
all life in the seas. In any event, I, for one, will never look at that
list (just in case, by some wild happenstance, I end up there).

Best regards to all,
Jim
