Dear Ross,
it has been recently published a work on Ovulidae from Somalia. Since it
is very near to Zanzibar it may be useful to you. Here is the reference:
Wagner H.P. & Briano B., 1997 - The Ovulidae from the Cape Rafun area,
Somalia (Mollusca: Gastropoda). - Vita Marina, Den Haag; 44 (3-4): 1-20
        Hoping this helps,
                Best regards, Paolo
