Vokesimurex, Petuch, 1994. (Atlas of Florida Fossil Shells)  Type species
Murex messorius Sowerby, 1844.  Also includes M. chrysostoma Sowerby
1834, M. cabriti Bernardi.1859, M. rubidus Baker, 1897 etc.  Vokes has
put this group in Haustellum Schumacher, 1817, Petuch split it off.
