"Hermies" are scavengers. They are not responsible for the demise of
the former inhabitants of their current homes.

One of the odder orders I have received was from a young girl who sent
me a check, with a note saying she wanted to purchase "a wardrobe" for
her pet hermit crab. Could I please send some shells that were
colorful, attractive, not too heavy, and which would fit a 2" crab. (She
neglected to give me his waist size however). :-)
(This was one of the terrestrial hermit crabs, not a marine species.)
