Living here in South Florida, anywhere you dig, park or walk, you will at
some point almost always come across various shell fossils (mostly
bi-valve, clam looking critters) cemented in limestone fossilized coral
which is widely used for fill. Does anyone know a good reference to
identify specimens which may be rare, valuable ( scientifically or
monitarily)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Michael Huggins of
M&Marcie, Bay Harbor Islands, FL
