        Thank you all for wonderful comments on purple dye. I realise it's well
distributed through the molluscs.
        Very interesting that of the Zapotec Indians using purple dye the
ecological way, who said the ancient Romans knew it all :-) !!
        Interesting point to, the one mentioned by Stanley. Does any one have any
more comments on this matter ?
