Good after Christmas morning!

Comment on chitons in aquaria. Back in the mid 60's, I
found a chiton out at Orient Point, Long Island, which the
Raihle's kept in their aquarium for about a year before he
(she) crawled out and expired. They subsequently sent me
the shell, but I have never actually identified the
species (in fact, I'm not sure what happened to the
shell), but it was small, no more than about a half inch.

(I may have re-acquired the speciment from a purchase of a
box of chitons that belonged to one of our club founders).

Cheers,
Linda
