After reading some responses to my original posting, let me reiterate
that I was stating my opinion and my reasons for it.  I did not TELL
anyone what to do, I urged conventioneers not to forego the annual
meeting, programs and other COA activities to attend this auction.
 
I am sure there are subscribers to Conch-L who are not COA members and
would not understand the degree of my feelings.  For those of you who
did not have the pleasure and privilege of meeting Len Hill, you missed
knowing a fine person and true gentleman.
