The shell museum at Jeffrey's Bay, South Africa is a delightful experience,
dedicated completely to seashells. The museum has an impressive collection
of Cypraea and Conus species, and many species from the other major
"collectable" families. It also includes three cases of species collected at
Jeffreys Bay. The shells are displayed in glass cases on both sides of a
U-shaped hall.  There is also a small collection of shell "models",
depicting the many colors of various molluscan bodies and mantles.
Though not particularly aimed at educating the public, it certainly is a
wonderful selection of seashell beauty and variability.
