Linda,

Neritodryas dubia is a fairly common Philippine shell and like many shells
from there, they seldom have an operc included, although I bought one with a
naticid operc! Anyway, I was finally able to get some with opercs for the
book. They are quite colorful once the periostracum is stripped. I also
purchased a few of these freshwater dwellers (they are not as commonly found
in trees as is N cornea and others) that had data slips claiming 80 fathoms
in a tangle net! Thankfully, I was eventually able to get many with good
data.
