Roatan seems an odd place for such a study. I have done
extensive diving there, including a lot of moderately deep
diving (140-230 fsw). In most places on the island, there is a
very narrow very shallow shelf then a wall to another shelf at
about 100' that slopes to about 200', then a wall to the abyss.
The 100-200' shelf is constantly moving sand chutes between
rocky outcroppings. Not typical conch habitat.
