Noticed on the Boynton reef (SoFla) this past Saturday more
whelk eggs than I've ever seen. Thousands of strings.

Oddly (I think) I haven't seen more whelks than usual, will be
interesting to see what the next few years brings.

Assuming that most are B. contrarium, can someone tell me what
the growth rate of this sp. is?
