Hello ConchList

Turritellidae question:
What is the "actual" or updated status of monterosatoi Kobelt 1887 ?
I sometimes notice that this shell is listed as an Archimediella Sacco 1895.
As monterosatoi is often seen as a syn. of turbona Monterosato 1877, and as
turbona is sometimes placed in the genus Gazameda Iredale 1924, what might
one think ?
Most of times, the CLEMAM's behaviour is followed, and both taxa are listed
under the genus Turritella, even if a Turritella looks quite different.
Again, what might one think regarding ((Archimediella OR Gazameda) OR
Turritella) AND (these species) ?

Thanks in advance

Olivier Caro
