Aloha,
I've sat at Molokini Crater off Maui for over a month watching hundreds of
daily operators using this area. As you know it's a state designated marine
life conservation district so no collecting of indigineous marine organisms
allowed. So the operators hit the local swap meets to buy commercial grade
"gifts" to seed on the divers as "special" finds.

I find this interesting since, like Guido, I also hang my hat in Cebu & have
watched the loading of 20 & 40 foot containers of commercial shells.
