OK, I don't usually ask about this but...

Is it Turbo argyrostoma or argyrostomus? T. chrysostoma or -stomus?

I seem to remember that -stoma is already masculine. That would explain why Abbott uses -stoma endings. Other sources including OBIS use -stomus.

When you think of the long and gloomy history of man, you will find more
hideous crimes have been committed in the name of obedience than have
ever been committed in the name of rebellion. -C.P. Snow, scientist and
writer (1905-1980)
