Bev,

I saw bivalves at the market in Bangkok. If there were any gastropods, I probably got distracted when I noticed the deep-fried insects and other items not usually found in the States.

A side-trip to the coast would certainly be productive. If there are fishermen cleaning their nets, you can probably find worthwhile items that they've tossed out. In the south at least, Melo melo is a food item and you may be able to purchase it at the market or from fishermen.
