Hello gang,
 
Patrice Bail (I don't know whether he is on CONCH-L), has made up a very
comprehensive listing of valid and synonym Volutidae superseding Poppe &
Goto in some cases.
 
He lists as valid: Adelomelon brasiliana along with ancilla, barattini,
beckii, ferrusssaci, riosi, scoresbyana.
 
And Odontocymbiola americana along with magellanica, pescalia, rucciana,
simulatrix, subnodosa.
These are all from South America.
