Hi All,

I recently send Bret Raines a box of pectens that I'd been saving
for him, and he cleaned them up and identified the species for me.
He was kind enough to put them on a web page for me, complete
with ID's. It's a bit of a sad commentary on the species that I've
found in American Samoa (the pallium came from Tonga), but it's
a tribute to Bret's shell-cleaning expertise, as well as his webpage
artistry. There aren't many shells, and they aren't rare, but the
page is so well done it would be a shame for only me to see it.
Check it out at:

Cheers from Pago Pago,
