To shelloak, to all other conchlers worldwide

There might be some misunderstandings on my homepage. I hope you
all could understand better, when I am explaining once more, what I mean
when I speak from dividing the shells with the museum collection and
our private collection. On the right part of the homepage you'll see
the English topic and text of my homepage.
First with my private interests: So I told you that I am always in European
shells and shellgrit from the Mediterranean. In the last years I got some
shell grit from Italian friends and for sorting out the shells I kept one part for
me, the other part was for the museum. From my private collection I always
devide my self collected material with the museum. When I change material, which might be for the museum too, I take the material from my private collection not to burd the museums collection.
In the second part of my introducing of my homepage I noted down what
interests I have for the museums collection, as I am responsible together

with my mother for this collection for more than 25 years as volunteer. My
mother started the work on this shell collection, together we do it since
1980.
And in the last years I took the initiative. Hope that all friends including
John now will it understand better, that I am really working with great enthusiasm on the museums collection. The museum can't afford cash for shjells which I want to have in the collection. So I am really dependent on help and genourosity of collectors, friends, dealers for their supplying with material. We have a small, nice, but well sistemated collection at the museum. On this way I would thank again colorful to all who have contributed with their shells to enlarge the museums collection and to complete some families with new material. There was also a report on La Conchiglia (The Shell) concerning the museum in Innsbruck. I want to tell you that this museum is not mine, the
natural history department is a part of the Tiroler Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum which belongs as a society to the province of Tirol.
Thank you best again for your attention. This I wrote to all members of
Conch-l to make all clear.
So in the next messages I promise you not to ask any more for donations
in general, but you will hear from you on private e-mails, when I am able
to exchange material and so on.
Thank you best again and with best shelling greetings for a Happy and
Successful New Year to all.
