OK, I've read everything about the "New species". My opinion, They're
all just forms of Melongena corona with sub-species attached to them.

About their habits of eating. Try going at high tide to an oyster bar.
I picked up a large cluster of oysters and 3 Melongena were hanging from
the cluster by their proboscsis. They all will eat oysters, and they
don't have to open the shell. Watching them in my aquarium I was
surprised how they killed and ate the oysters. The Melongena have a
small proboscsis. When the oyster opens, the Melongena pokes its
proboscsis in and the oyster closes on it. The Melongena doesn't seem
to mind. The Melongena waits patiently and each time the oyster opens
it moves in farther until it reaches the muscle and finally eats through
it, and the oyster pops open and is cleaned out in no time.
