Dear Jose;-
        I would suggest that the Miami tornado might have been associated with
a hurricane. I imagine that the one that hit Charleston also spun of a
few. Our "plains" tornados seem pretty independent of other systems or
disasters, only coming with lots or rain, lightning, and sometimes large
hail.
