        If I am not mistaken, most of the insects will be found dead in the
shells. They are probably the agent that dined on the shell-meat after
it was "collected" or found on the beach. They just didn't know when to
abandon the premises. The insects may have had a hard time coping with
bleach or other cleaning agent, or freezing, or microwaving.
