Welcome Nancy.  Now that you have met Art, be advised he is the keeper
of the "tone" on the list.  Anytime someone wanders off the desired path
and posts a message without mentioning the word "shell," or posts a
joke, or anything trivial -- it is Art's job to get them in line.  We
are all very lucky to have such a vigilant overseer.
