Just a note on the Iomega Zip drive.  I agree it is the greatest thing since
sliced bread, very fast and pretty hardy -- however, not invulnerable.  I
kept (past tense) all of the data and past issues of the club newsletter on
a zip disk.  I spilled coffee on this disk and have not been able to get
anything out of it since even after cleaning with soapy water, electronic
cleaning sprays, etc.  I now keep a copy on the hard drive and a copy on a
zip drive.  But I haven't yet backed up my shell database, so I had better
get on it.
