>definatly the "Atlantic side". the old bridge near the south end of
missouri key is a good hard pan enviorment and many nice specimens could be
found by the patient sheller, i personally found my first live cypraea
there; 80 mm Cypraea cervus . BEWARE though , two friends of mine were
harassed by a 7 ft. bull shark there, this wasn't the first report of this
shark i have heard and it might be "it's" teretory. i didn't see the shark
on my visit but my firends are pretty reliable. just north, on the Atlantic
side. of the overseas hwy is a small set of long channels that snake out
into the sea grasses like snakes . there are nice specimens to be found in
the area.
