That was a real fun catch for a collector (not usually for fishermen). I
wonder if we can easily "make" such a tangle happen while avoiding
frustrating fishermen.
I notice that other than Olivella mutica, "22 species of Olivella" is on
the list without elaboration. I have trouble distinguishing Olivella
species other than mutica and a few others. The book descriptions don't
help much. I'm guessing I've got plenty of company.
Are the soft parts required for making the distinctions?
