Ross Mayhew posted for me on the Conch-L Images site images of a shell
whose identity I would like to confirm. The URL is

http://geocities.com/conchlimages/Bankston.html

The shell was labeled Macroschisma munita Iredale, 1940. I think it
looks a bit more like the picture of M. producta Adams, 1850, in the
Australian Shells book. Perhaps some expert in the Fissurellidae could
provide the conclusive ID. The shell was collected at Coconut Wells
Beach, N. of Broome, Western Australia. Its length is 15 mm.
