Peter...The intertidal marine life around the Vancouver area is somewhat
limited by the Fraser River and other freshwater in the Strait of Georgia.
I believe Victoria breakwater is posted as a marine reserve.. however, it
may be species specific. I'll get back to you tommorow. Graham Jeffries, a
chiton and mollusk entusiast will be in Victoria. He was also looking into
collecting restrictions at the Ogden Pt. breakwater.
Whiffen Spit, Sooke has a number of chitons.
